PS1-inspired theme park horror Crow Country hits Switch this month

Crow Country, the acclaimed PS1-inspired survival horror adventure from Snipperclips developer SFB Games, is bringing its retro scares to PS4 and Switch on 16th October.

Crow Country – which launched for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in May – catapults players back to 1990 and the titular theme park of Edward Crow, a man who disappeared in mysterious circumstances two years prior. “Don’t be deceived by the whimsical surroundings,” teases SFB, “something is awfully wrong in Crow Country.”

Battlefield sleuth seemingly identifies location teased in next game's first bit of concept art

Earlier this week, EA took its first steps toward reveal Battlefield’s next series entry – mostly in the form of teasing chatter from series boss Vince Zampella, but also by way of an enigmatic bit of concept art. But now, an internet sleuth reckon he’s identified the real-world location featured in the image, potentially revealing where Battlefield is heading next.

Beyond vague talk of EA’s design goals for the new Battlefield, about the only concrete bit of information Zampella shared earlier this week was that it would move away from the future setting of 2021’s poorly received Battlefield 2042, instead taking place in the “modern day”. And if internet investigators are correct, we might now have an additional bit of information: that at least some of the ne…

Dragon's Dogma 2 adds casual mode that makes Dragonsplague less devastating

Capcom has released a chunky update for Dragon’s Dogma 2, which adds a number of features, including a new casual mode.
This casual mode has reduced inn fees and also cut the cost of Ferrystones, while players will now expend less stamina when dashing outside of battle. Also, a notable boon: when playing in casual mode, Pawns will recover from the dreaded Dragonsplague without that devastating calamity occurring. This is even if a Pawn’s symptoms progress to a terminal stage, Capcom said.
